Spaces are limited - sign up today! "Making Soul": Writing and Performance for Personal (R)evolution Pre-registration required. DESCRIPTION: a writing and performance workshop series for adults of all ages (17 to 77+) to explore histories, language, identity, and our visions for ourselves within a changing world. We will draw from our collective and individual voices to discover old-new languages in our bodies and on our tongues. No writing or performance experience necessary. Consistent attendance to entire series is strongly encouraged, although drop-ins may be allowed by request. COURSE INCLUDES: Info about the facilitator: Writer, performer, educator Aimee Suzara's work includes publication in the upcoming Check the Rhyme anthology of women poets and a track on the Eye of the Storm CD. She recently wrote/directed/performed in a multidisciplinary theatre show, "Pagbabalik," which will be shown in its next evolution at La Pena in early 2007. She is a Mills College M.F.A. candidate, poetry editor of Tea Party Magazine, and facilitates workshops with Art in Action, Spirit in Motion, and more.
